LOVED it here! We needed somewhere to stay after our previous hotel wasn’t worth staying in. We ended up in a clean, fresh, comfortable room that we really enjoyed! It was right next to the arcade which was a ton of fun for our whole family! We didn’t bring swim suits but there was an indoor pool with a hot tub. The breakfast was delicious and had many options including a waffle maker! It’s a great place to stay! Close to so many things and beautiful views. We really enjoyed it and plan on staying again in the future!
Stayed here two years ago for the Scottish Festival held at Loon. Fantastic prices. Very clean facility. I'm sure most people are drawn to the high end area around Loon but if they took the time to research the surrounding area then they would certainly pick this gem. Woodwards is quiet & well maintained. Breakfast is phenomenal. One of the best things is the easy access to I-93 and the plentiful ski areas located nearby. This has become our "go to" place!
Cute place... Felt like I stepped right back into the '60s traveling with my mom and dad. It must have been redone at some point and very well at that. Our bed was very comfortable, room was very clean, and breakfast was great...though very typical of "free breakfast," it was nicely presented. I'll bet it's pretty in the summertime, but we got a really sweet breakfast treat when we looked out the window... I think it snowed just for us! To sum it all up, it was clean, comfortable, nostalgic, and the price was great. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation.
Went here in the winter with a ski group. This is a slower time of year for tourists in the White Mountains area so the hotel felt quiet and comfortable for us. The rooms have been upgraded from when we were here 6 or 7 years ago and are clean and comfortable enough at a modest price. The free breakfast bar was a great convenience.
What a great hotel. Only place we could find that would allow us to bring our two cats with not much hassle we couldn't find a cat sitter around where we and the first hotel we went to said we could bring our cats when we got there. It was a different story. The second hotel we went to said we could bring our cats but every time we left the room we had to take the cats with us so not really able to bring the cats to that particular hotel, this hotel said it was okay. Just had to pay the pet fee and that was great. Compliment your breakfast. Clean rooms. Good service friendly staff. I recommend this place
We had a rocky start to our trip due to some very noisy upstairs neighbors, but the staff here completely saved my birthday weekend! They were incredibly understanding and moved us to a different room that still had the spa tub I was looking forward to. We had a wonderful, quiet night of rest and really enjoyed the on-site pub and arcade. The service was top-notch—next time I’ll just be sure to request a top-floor room from the start. Highly recommend!
We needed a place for 2 nights while skiing at Loon and Bretton Woods. Woodward's was perfect and a great value. The room was clean and warm with an inside entrance. There was a good size refrigerator and small coffee maker. The bathroom had recently been renovated. The breakfast was better than average for a motel breakfast. There is a game room and pool for kids and a bar and restaurant which we did not check out. We will return.
I stayed at this hotel during a ski trip. This is a value motel located in between loon and Cannon mountains. The hotel is clean and the bed is comfortable. Only staying here for the one night but would have no problem staying for a second or third evening. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a good size restaurant and sports bar adjacent to the hotel. Food and drinks were good. There are several other excellent dining options within a few minutes drive. All in all, staying at this hotel has proven to be a good decision for a simple place to catch some sleep in between skiing days. I will likely stay here again.
